Volunteers from Luker Rowe once again gave up their time to help promote the work of the Chiltern foodbank and collect donations. The Chiltern foodbank are a registered charity supporting local people in crisis. Luker Rowe have taken part in a number of initiatives this year in support of the foodbank, our nominated charity for the year. On November 29th Christine Dandridge, John Shephard, Eamonn O’Mahony, Mick Sane, Anthony Mallam, Paul Bainbridge, Colin Sparshott, Toni Chapman, Chris Luker, Andrea Napier, Tony Colbourne and Samir Patel gave up their time to promote the work of the foodbannk and collect donations outside Tesco in Old Amersham.
Mike Rideout from the Chiltern foodbank said ” A big thank you once again for being willing to come out and help us so enthusiastically with our recent collection. We collected 2066Kg. That’s a seriously fantastic result, and we were heavily reliant on you and your colleagues’ support on Friday morning.
